Hi and hope you are well as can be, as summer passes us by and the leaves are turning…..
July and August have been productive and in a way, life changing with an opportunity to film up at Beinn Eighe in Wester Ross, collaborating with Graeme Roger. More to follow on this but the experience was a wonderful opportunity, capturing on film, how I see and feel about nature, shape, colour, contrasts, shadows and movement. The film will feature a composition that I hope, tells a story of mood and nature, preservation and beauty. Beinn Eighe is the oldest and largest of the Nature Reserves in Scotland….no shortage of ancient pine forests, dragon flies, water, mountains….I could go on and on…spectacular…
I have been in my art studio creating some new work which I hope you will enjoy looking at. This has definitely helped me to get through Lockdown, as I am used to being occupied with work, projects, gigs, teaching, recording and socialising. I hope you have managed to find something inspiring or new to you during the last few months.
Finally, I am delighted with the response to THE SPECTRUM PROJECT, launched during “lockdown”, and you can read over quotes from encouraging reviews. Thank you for your support and enthusiasm….Spectrum has reached as far as Canada, US, France, Germany, Sweden and of course, across Scotland.
Stay safe and thanks a million for dropping by.
Marie
