Marie's Art

'It’s something very personal to me and I get a lot of pleasure out of it.

My influences are usually based on nature or imaginary thoughts. I’m obsessed with the sea. In particular, Dingle, Tiree, Tobermory and Shetland are also close to my heart. I love to walk in open spaces, around trees and hills to observe shape and colour, texture and mood.’

Marie mainly uses acrylics and ink for a layered effect on board or canvas and has sold various works and had several commissions. If you see something that appeals to you or you have an idea of colours and theme, Marie can chat to you about it, with no pressure to buy.
